2.)  How long do the meetings last?  Most meetings will last an hour, but occasionally an hour and half.

3.)  How do we know if there is a meeting?   We do our best to keep our troop google calendar up-to-date.   Frequently, there is an email the week before describing the activities at the upcoming meeting.

4.)  What about uniforms?

Class A Uniforms are required for all Scouts for Troop meetings, camp outs & other events. The Class A Uniform includes a tan BSA shirt (with all appropriate badges), Uniform pants, a Neckerchief slide, and Merit Badge Sash (only worn at official ceremonies/events).

Troop 212 Class B T-shirts are used as undershirts when we are doing strenuous activities, also available are Green Troop Fleeces and Red stocking hats to wear when it gets colder out. These must be ordered through the troop.

*We do have a limited amount of Class A uniforms that have been donated by Scouts after they have outgrown them. If you need any portion of the Uniform please ask, and if you have any old scout clothing, please consider donating it to the Troop.

Fin and Feather in Iowa City has some limited scouting supplies and uniforms.   The Hawkeye Area Council Scout Shop in Cedar Rapids has an extensive amount of scouting gear and uniform supplies.   We do have a "troop store" that sells Class B shirts and other troop specific items.
